A new upscale hotel situated in Lagos mainland requires the services of the following professionals: GENERAL MANAGER: B.Sc/M.Sc in Humanities, Social Sciences or Business Management. Leadership skills, entrepreneurship skills, communication skills as well as financial planning and budgeting, experience would be an asset. The position holder will be responsible for day to day running of the hotel including, setting annual budgets, business targets, marketing strategies and managing the staff and facilities. ACCOUNTANT: B.Sc/HND Accountancy and ACA. Proficiency in the use of accounting software packages is an essential requirement. Ability to multi-task, paying attention to detail, as well as, interest in the operations of the hotel industry will be a great advantage. HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR: B.A or B.Sc / HND in any discipline. Knowledge of established cleaning procedures and techniques; Ability to pay attention to detail, implement, coordinate and monitor daily work schedule or routine work of a moderate sized group of cleaning. Housekeeping and maintenance assistants. Experience in housekeeping and accommodation operations in the hotel industry will be an added advantage SENIOR COOK: B.Sc / HND in Hotel and Catering Management or related discipline. Ability to prepare Continental and African dishes. A minimum of 5 years experience in a reputable hotel or catering establishment will be an added advantage FRONT OFFICE EXECUTIVE/RECEPTIONIST: HND or B.SC in Humanities, Arts or Social Sciences. Candidate must be well groomed, honest with proven proficiency in the use of computers and database software. He/she must have excellent, organisational and communication skills. Knowledge of accommodation operations or front office management in a corporate establishment will be an added advantage. MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN/OFFICER: OND / HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Trade Test 1 or City &Guilds. Must have technical expertise and experience in performing a variety of electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks. HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANTS AND WAITERS:WASC 0' levels or OND.
